These Terms and Conditions (“Terms") govern your use of CargoLDN’s services and website. By booking a delivery with CargoLDN, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Definitions

"CargoLDN" refers to the delivery service provider, operated in London, UK.

"Customer" refers to any individual or business booking a delivery service.

"Driver" refers to an independent contractor providing delivery services on behalf of CargoLDN.

"Service" refers to any delivery, logistics, or related service offered by CargoLDN.

"Booking" refers to a confirmed order for a CargoLDN delivery service.
2. Services Provided
CargoLDN offers the following delivery services:

General Delivery – One-off deliveries of parcels, specialist items, or personal shipments.

Same-Day & Urgent Delivery – Fast-tracked delivery within London, with an urgent 3-hour option.

Specialist Delivery – Transport of delicate, valuable, or unique items such as artwork and cakes.

Click & Collect: We collect and deliver orders from major retailers such as IKEA, Argos, and John Lewis.

Mini Multi-Drop – Multiple stop deliveries for small businesses, PR packages, and grouped shipments.
-
Long-Distance Delivery – Transport of parcels beyond London to destinations across the UK.
All services are subject to availability and operating capacity.
3. Booking & Payments
3.1 Booking Process

Customers must book a delivery through CargoLDN’s website, mobile application, or approved booking system.

Please provide accurate details for all required delivery details (pickup address, drop-off address, item description, and preferred time).

CargoLDN reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking that does not comply with these Terms.
3.2 Payment Terms

Full payment is required at the time of booking.

You can pay via credit/debit card, PayPal, or any other method offered on our platform.

Set-price deliveries (e.g., Click & Collect, Mini Multi-Drop) are charged at a fixed rate, while other deliveries may be distance-based or time-based.

Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the booking.
3.3 Cancellation & Refunds

Same-Day & Urgent Deliveries: Non-refundable after dispatch.

Scheduled Deliveries:

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before pickup are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations within 24 hours may be eligible for a partial refund (excluding processing fees).

Failed Deliveries: If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect address details or the recipient is unavailable, additional fees may apply for re-delivery.
4. Delivery Conditions & Responsibilities
4.1 Customer Responsibilities

Customers must ensure that items are properly packaged for safe transportation.

Accurate address details and contact information must be provided at the time of booking.

If a delivery requires special handling (e.g., fragile, high-value items), the customer must notify CargoLDN in advance.
4.2 Restricted & Prohibited Items
CargoLDN does not transport the following:

Illegal or hazardous goods (e.g., explosives, firearms, toxic substances).

Perishable food items without proper packaging or refrigeration.
-
Live animals or plants require special permits.
-
Items exceeding size or weight limits (restrictions vary by service type).
If a driver arrives for pickup and discovers a restricted item, the delivery may be cancelled without a refund.
4.3 Delivery Delays & Liabilities

CargoLDN aims to complete deliveries within the estimated timeframe, but we are not liable for delays caused by:

Traffic congestion or road closures.

Weather conditions affecting safe transport.

Customer-related issues (e.g., incorrect address, no recipient available).

If a delivery is significantly delayed due to CargoLDN’s fault, a partial refund or compensation may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
4.4 Proof of Delivery & Failed Deliveries

Customers may request photo confirmation, digital signature, or delivery receipt upon completion.

If a recipient is unavailable, the driver will attempt to contact them by phone. If the item cannot be delivered, it will be returned or reattempted at an additional charge.
5. Driver Policy & Independent Contractors

CargoLDN works with independent drivers who own their own bikes, cars, or vans.

Drivers are responsible for ensuring safe and lawful transport of items.
-
CargoLDN is not liable for personal driver-related incidents outside of contractual obligations.
6. Liability & Insurance
6.1 Loss & Damage Liability

CargoLDN provides basic coverage for lost or damaged items up to [£X].

Customers may request additional insurance for high-value deliveries.

CargoLDN is not responsible for damage resulting from poor packaging or pre-existing defects.
6.2 Claims Process

7. Website Use & Data Protection

Users must not engage in fraudulent bookings, misuse of promotional offers, or disrupt service operations.
7.2 Data Protection & Privacy

Customer data is used only for service fulfilment and is never sold to third parties.
